Attach the sample, the jaw/turret photograph or drawing, the loading method and the inspection plan. If the seller quotes “standard tooling” without naming stations, treat live-tool holders as unresolved. Spindle speed in rpm and connected load support the electrical design; they do not replace a cycle record on the buyer’s alloy.
Control boundary
The approval packet should show included versus excluded rows for the base machine, bar feeder, chip conveyor, extra jaw sets, live-tooling package, software, installation, training, spares, shipping and FAT/SAT travel. A lower equipment price that omits those rows is not cheaper until the missing work is priced. This service will not convert a brochure CE mark into a plant-wide compliance guarantee.
Live tooling is the usual hidden second machine. If a groove can be turned but a cross-hole cannot, either price a live-tool station or accept a second setup on a mill. Coolant pressure, concentration and chip conveyor routing change tool life; copy those assumptions into the approval record or two “complete cycles” are not comparable. Optional budget and supplier preference (premium documentation, mid-range, budget-friendly, or still comparing) can sit in the same inquiry without implying a verified rating.
